My voice thread is at http://voicethread.com/share/1697856/ however, I also embeded it just below this post. I think you can add comments there as well. If someone would try that, it would be helpful for me to know. I also embedded a review lesson I am using with my math class below that. I can see them both and add comments. However, sometimes I can do things on my side that cannot be done if you are not logged on as me. So, if you cannot comment here, please comment to the link above.
Thank you,
Missy
Missy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea with your voice thread. I also notice with my students they do not jot down the main ideas of conversations when note taking. For this reason, I create graphic organizers that help them organize the information to hopefully retain it like the research states. I liked how you tied in your insights and recieved support from others throughout your voice thread. One suggestion could be to add more photos than words to keep the reader/ listener more attentive. I am far from an expert but I know it stated an image is far more powerful in our weekly resources. Great start to the voice thread!

Kourtney,
ReplyDeleteI agree. My original presentation had some photos in it, but when I donwloaded the power point, the pictues would not import. I had so much trouble that I decided to just use the words on the power points. Maybe if I would have imported the pictures separately, I could have had some nice photos to keep interest. Did you use power point? Do you know why my power point format and pictures would not import?
Missy
Missy,
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I had a problem too so I took a picture of the slides on my camera to get around the issue. I am sorry. I hope with more practice we can get to the bottom of this. It is still a REALLy good use of voice thread! Nice job.
